Cat Wile, W-FF
B.S. International Business
As Backcountry Pulse’s Global Operations Director, Cat manages in-country logistics, support, and operations for programming worldwide. Cat has a degree in international business and learned early on that the corporate world is no place for her and has spent the past decade working with international non-profits, social enterprises, and entrepreneurship. She brings with her a wealth of experience managing international projects and events, leading startups, and a keen love of Post-It note To-Do lists and Excel spreadsheets.
Cat has kayaked off waterfalls in New Zealand, backpacked through the highest mountain range in the world, run the original marathon in Greece, lived in China, New Zealand and Nepal, and worked as a wildland firefighter in the American Southwest.
She is the owner of Forlulu Events, an event company that plans and produces impactful events for the adventurous. Cat also serves as a Founding Board Director of Wayfinder Co-op, a co-working space for the outdoor industry in Denver, Colorado where she manages all things events and is a master of rebuilding kegerators.
When not working on with startup businesses, climbing around the American Southwest, or booking plane tickets to destinations like Cuba and Tanzania, she can be found volunteering for emergency disaster response operations with Team Rubicon or searching for climbing and whitewater adventures in Colorado.
